An artfully romantic wedding at the Art Gallery of Hamilton in Hamilton, Ontario
Jake and Nicole’s wedding at the Art Gallery of Hamilton was full of colour, warmth, and the kind of beautiful little details that make a day feel entirely its own. A soft palette of pastels, playful touches throughout, and sunlight that seemed to find its way into every part of the celebration.
We began at Gage Park in Hamilton, where Jake and Nicole shared their first look before gathering with their families for photographs. Once those were finished, we spent some time wandering the grounds for portraits of just the two of them, before making our way to the gallery, where their favourite people were gathering to witness the beginning of their marriage.
Their ceremony took place outdoors in the beautiful afternoon sunlight, followed by a cocktail hour in the open air. From there, everyone gathered for dinner in the gallery’s expansive reception space, where floor-to-ceiling windows filled the room with natural light. The softness of the colours against the architecture of the gallery was such a lovely contrast, with every detail feeling considered but never overly formal.
