Danielle and Ben's wedding at Ironwood was full of thoughtful details, beautiful surroundings, and a rather wonderful surprise for their guests. What everyone thought would be a wedding ceremony turned out to be something a little different, and the entire day was made all the more memorable for it.
We began the morning at their respective Airbnbs, with the guys making a quick trip to Silversmith Brewing Co. for a pint before we gathered at the historic house where Danielle had been getting ready. There, beneath the sweeping branches of old willow trees and surrounded by sprawling green lawns, Danielle and Ben shared their first look.
From there, we headed next door to Ironwood Cider House, where guests gathered in the large viewing area for what they thought would be a traditional wedding ceremony. Instead, Danielle and Ben had secretly eloped a few weeks earlier, and everyone was invited to watch their ceremony unfold on the big screen. Such a fun and unexpected way to share something so personal with the people they love.
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating beneath a beautiful tent in Ironwood’s pear orchard, with no shortage of laughter, good company, and people genuinely delighted to be there. There was so much joy in this day, and I think that's what I'll remember most. How much love there was for these two, and how freely everyone showed it.
